The shack is one of the seven legally registered on Arambol beach with a full restaurant and bar, toilet and shower, dance floor and good shade.
The Surf club was formed in october 2003, the concept being to offer live and dance music of all types along with adventure sports in a clean friendly environment. It has gained a reputation as a place for musicians and multi media artists to meet with a lot of spontaneity, no two nights being the same.
Day time activities are based at the Surf shack located on the beach with adventure sports and an open music policy for d.js. Both the club and shack are free entry and are available free for special occasions.
Situated at the south end of Arambol beach in the palm grove with a river behind and the beach sixty metres in front, the club is fifteen minutes walk (along the beach) or five minutes with transport from central Arambol.
Eight double guestrooms with balcony, attached shower and western toilet.
With its natural tranquil setting, the club has a relaxed informal atmosphere with hammocks and low level seating for chillout, while the shaded gardens offer secluded dining areas. Live music, dancing and film give entertainment three nights a week for balance.
The shack, set on the wide eight kilometre beach offers sport and music for the more active, or as a base for walks and sunbathing etc.
