Accommodation in Arambol.

Rented accommodation in Arambol is usually quite basic with only two or three large hotels having been built over recent years. The alternatives to staying in a hotel are either; renting a whole house, renting a room (usually located within a guest house), or living with a local family. There are also some bamboo huts available close to the main beach and by the fresh water lake. Due to their location, these huts are generally just as expensive as rooms, but certainly not as secure and probably less comfortable, especially in late season (mid Febuary to mid April) when mosquito infestation can become a problem. Rates vary with the time of year, peak season being about December/ January. Discounts can usually be negotiated for "all season lets".
